Another globe trotting Aussie that has settled in a foreign land after leaving OZ in 2005. After extended travels in Sth America I headed to Europe using London as a base working in the graphic design and advertising industry. I continued to travel throughout Europe until I hit Riga, met a Latvian girl and finally got into the Riga hostel business. Already two years in Latvia now and who knows what the future holds for me.

I have been working in hostels for years starting as a cleaner now Im one of the owners :) I also take guests for the AK47 shooting Tours and love to show people around my city. I make sure our hostel is clean from top to bottom and Im happy to say we must have the cleanest hostels in Riga and maybe even the world.

I first came to Riga in 2004 and kept returning for a lovely local girl named Gunita. Im one of the owners of the hostel but live in Australia 6 months of the year working on Rigs as an Contract Engineer. I enjoy the odd Bundy Rum and you cant go past a juicy steak… if you want a good steak in Riga Im the man to ask for advice!

I love working in the reception and meeting people from all across the globe. Last summer I worked in Greece for a hotel which was an amazing experience. I love the beach and enjoy going to the gym and being very active!! I’m currently studying English Philology at university and when I finish will move abroad to see where my qualifications take me.

I also offer professional massage for guests in the hostel, so after a hard day of travels or walking around Riga come to me and unwind with a relaxing massage. Im also studying medicine at university and like to meet interesting people from all around the world.

Its great fun to meet people every day from around the world and I really enjoy showing people Riga and helping guests to have a great time while staying with us. I’m studying Italian and love to pour beers :) One thing I cant stand is seafood… yuk!
