are all super friendly people that want you to have a great time in our hostel. We try
to make each and every person feel at home in our hostel. Local knowledge is the key
to making the most of any city and our team knows all the hidden gems in Riga.

Jarrod – Sydney, Australia.
After backpacking around South America the next stop was UK and Europe. Using London as a base and working as an Art Director in the advertising industry I traveled around Europe. I first came to Riga in 2006 during a 3 month backpacking trip and I never thought I would be living here all these years later… life is truly amazing.

Gunita – Riga, Latvia.
I had been working in hostels for many years as a cleaner, now I’m one of the owners :) I take guests for the AK47 shooting Tours and love to show people around my city. I make sure our hostel is clean from top to bottom and Im happy to say we must have the cleanest hostels in Riga and maybe even the world.

Elina – Riga, Latvia.
I work in the hostel reception and love Rock Music! I also run KARAOKE every thursday and PUB CRAWL from hostel. Its great fun to meet people every day from around the world and I really enjoy showing people Riga and helping guests to have a great time while staying with us. I’m studying Italian and love to pour beers :) One thing I cant stand is seafood… yuk!

Ieva – Riga, Latvia.
Im one of the lovely receptionists. I enjoy spending free time playing in a ska band, daily updating  myself in an internet meme scene. I speak 5 languages – Latvian, Russian, English, German, Slovenian and also learning Spanish! Im a proud vegetarian and a cat keeper. Weird literature and cinematography, briscola and good coffee loving. Captain Kirk to Captain Piccard prefering nerd who secretly doesn’t like travelling, yet always ends up in various places around the world. Im secretly in love with Meditterean seaside and hope to one day solve the problems of the world,  or at least a rubic cube!

Vendija – Riga, Latvia.
I’m one of the night shift squirrels. One of my biggest passions is art, I could say that I’m a slave to it. Doesn’t matter which detour it takes : music, painting, writing – love it all and try to grow in all of those spheres. I’m interested in psychology, a bit of observer. Don’t know do I use it, or is she using me, but it certainly changes a lot . Another thing that I could say about myself is that I’m a seeker of harmony, and mostly it’s founder.
