Jarrod – Sydney, Australia.
I’m another globe trotting aussie that has settled in a foregin land (Riga) after leaving OZ in 2005. After extended travels in sth america I headed to europe using london as a base working in the graphic design and advertising industry. I continued to travel throughout europe until I hit Riga, met a latvian girl named Ieva, fell in love… and finally got into the Riga hostel business. Already two years in latvia now and who knows what the future holds for me.

Ieva B. - Riga, Latvija.
I am a proud Latvian with all the pros and cons of one. I love the city and I have made it my mission to make everyone visiting this city and country enjoy it as much as possible.  I have worked in hospitality for many years but only when I first started working in a hostel and realized that this was what I had always wanted to do. Luckily my boyfriend Jarrod has always shared this passion with me and when the opportunity to own a hostel in Riga came along there wasn’t much holding us back.

Roberts – Sigulda, Latvia.
I’m a full time student working for the Naughty Squirrel during the weekends. I’m the Pub crawl leader so you can meet me every friday for the Riga Clubs Tour and also the Russian Car Rally. I enjoy working in the hostel because the best people from all over the world meet here.

Eva – Roja, Latvia.
I would have to say Im one of the few Latvian girls that likes to surf, mainly off the coast of portugal. Im slowly learning guitar as well, so if you can play some tunes come share some tips with me please. I work in the recepetion of the hostel and really enjoy meeting all the different people. Im also a proud vegetarian. Hopefully one day I will be running a hostel down in sunny portugal catching some waves everyday!

Ieva – Riga, Latvia.
I love working in the reception and meeting people from all across the globe. Last summer I worked in Greece for a hotel which was an amazing experience. I love the beach and enjoy going to the gym and being very active!! Im currently studying English Philology at university and when I finish will move abroad to see where my qualifications take me.

Karina – Latvia.
I used be a bartender in Riga but now work night reception for the naughty squirrel. I also offer professional massage for guests in the hostel, so after a hard day of travels or walking around the city come to me and unwind with a relaxing massage. Im also studying medicine at university and look forward to what the future holds for me.
